Yacht charter duration and Price Calculation
Rental is usually calculated on a weekly basis. Seven days, or 1 week, is generally considered the minimum charter period. Reservations are calculated for seven days from Saturday to Saturday. The daily rental fee of the yacht is calculated by dividing the weekly price by seven, and if a rental is more than 7 days, the rental fee is calculated by multiplying the daily rental fee by the number of days. In some yachts, it is possible to rent a yacht for less than 7 days and it is possible to make a few days charter tour during low season periods. The charter period starts in the afternoon of the first day and ends on the morning of the last day. High season rates are valid for the most popular charter periods, July and August. Mid-term is for June and September. Low season rates are valid for May and October.
Terms of payment
40% of the total rental fee can be paid as a deposit by bank transfer or credit card on the date the contract is signed. After the payment is made, you will receive a confirmation that the reservation has been confirmed. The remaining balance must be paid during boarding, along with the APA fee.
What is APA - How to Calculate
Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA FEE) is made instantly for the rental payment. It is usually calculated as 25% of the total charter fee, but this amount may be 30-35% for some ultra luxury yachts. Food, beverage, port fees (for non-contracted ports) are given to the captain before starting the cruise, this payment is designed to cover provisions and other costs. APA are payments made on your behalf by the captain. All invoices and cash spending accounts must be completed by the guest before the tour starts. The captain gives you a breakdown of his expenditures, and if less than the APA amount has been spent, he will return the remaining money to you, if the amount of spending exceeds the APA amount, it must be completed by the guests.
Tour Routes and Ports
Although the tour route and ports are generally chosen by the guests among the pre-determined routes, if possible, the guests can make a difference in the routes by informing the agency in advance of the ports and bays they want to go to, and the tour route is stated in the contract in this way. If the tour ends in a different port other than the end port specified in the contract with the request of the guest, the cost of return to the end port is also paid by the guest.

All boats are insured and this insurance also covers third parties. The insurance covers the medical expenses due to the injuries on the boat that may occur during the cruise or the damages that may occur due to the accident. However, the insurance does not cover any damage or loss that may occur outside the boat. For this reason, we recommend that our guests take out an insurance covering travel, health, accident, tour cancellation or loss of baggage and cruise interruption as a precaution against any negativities that may occur outside the boat.
